This design makes sense to me. Nice large field of vision including peripheral fields, full head coverage with what appears to be a locking mechanism, and I do enjoy the smooth, organically grown look of it. Unfortunately, there don't appear to be any integrated life support systems to it, though if the technology is as advanced as the design suggests, they could be grown into the neck. Overall, 9.75/10.
